ABOUT ME
I love the complex and compelling ways image and text interact. Whether it's the imagery and symbolism that emerge in prose or the enhancing relationship of the elements in graphic stories: I'm here for it.
My work explores the tensions between individual and domestic identities, between selfishness and selflessness, and between inhibition and freedom. My current project, I 🤍 U , is a graphic memoir about mothering, loss, and hope.
I earned my MFA from Randolph College and my M.Ed from the University of Mary Washington. I served as the lead nonfiction editor for Revolute Randolph’s literary magazine. My work has appeared in The Believer and No Tokens Journal.
